The Residences
Located in Walcha, EastGate Village is a community of 12 near new homes that are all located in a close knit community. Eastgate is an over 55’s village of security gated with a community kitchen for BBQ’s.
Each home has two bedrooms, a kitchen/dining area, a lounge area, a bathroom and a laundry room, in addition to a carport and fencing around the entire property. All homes are fully fenced for the keeping of pets, however all pets do have to be assessed as being suitable.
Each of the homes has been constructed on a single level design to make access easy for residents.
Every home at EastGate Village is well insulated and comes with two RC air conditioners for thermal comfort. Every house is also equipped with double-glazed windows. There are both furnished and unfurnished homes available.

The Location and Village
Walcha is an ideal regional township located approximately 400km NW of Sydney, situated between Armidale & Tamworth.
Walcha is a town with four doctors, a chemist, a near-new hospital, a post office, two supermarkets, a bowling and golf club, and other community services.
Daily trains run from Walcha to Sydney & return with all stops in between, as well as daily flights to both Brisbane & Sydney departing from both Tamworth (95km) & Armidale (63km).
Walcha has a typical mountain air climate. During the summer, the temperatures are very pleasant and average 26 degrees with very mild humidity.
A typical Walcha climate can be described as crisp, clean, and cool. During the Spring, there are a multitude of flowers and trees bursting with colour, and in the Autumn, deciduous trees transform into yellows, reds & everything in between. Winters can be cold and snow showers may occur from time to time during the season.
